I've been working with an extensive and super talented team here at NBBJ on a project for Seattle City Light. Recently, FastCo Design called it the "world's coolest electrical substation." Read the article here to see why.
[12/8/15] Update : This project has gone on to win multiple awards over the last year, including the International Interior Design Association's award for best concept (see award ceremony video here at minute 56), and was named a finalist in Fast Company's 2015 Global Innovation by Design competition.
It's really powerful to see how story translates into an experiential strategy that designers employ to create a space like this. I'm really honored to have been a part of this project, and to have developed a narrative strategy that has played a part in shaping the urban fabric of our city.
